OmySBA 2013 - We WON the Best Cooking Blog!!

Last Saturday, 6th July 2013 the Singapore Blog Awards 2013 celebrate its glorious 6th year with a 60s Fever theme at Shanghai Dolly. The Singapore Blog Awards is organised by omy.sg, Singapore Press Holdings' leading bilingual news and entertainment portal, and presented by Panasonic.



As you already know, we were the finalist for Panasonic Best Cooking Blog. Finalists in this category was required to showcase our culinary flairs using Panasonic loan kitchen appliances.

The winners of the Singapore Blog Awards were determined by a combination of online voting (30 per cent) and professional scoring (70 per cent) by a panel of independent judges appointed by omy.sg.

We were in 2nd place for the Panasonic Best Cooking Blogs' voting, never did we expect Celestial Delish will win by the professional scoring!



Celestial Delish will not be born without the encouragement of a special friend. Our photos was horrible but the passion for cooking/baking is in us. She motivates me to starts a blog and is never selfish to share her success. We make improvements along the way and the passion for food photography just grow stronger in 2012. Since, it has been an exciting and fun journey.

Thank you Derrick of SG Food on Foot for nominating our blog in this category, my guinea pigs (you know who you are) and BIG thank you to those who has shower us with love and support for the past one to two years. Our passion has grow even stronger with the support of YOU, our readers!

Sorry we don't have much photos to share for the awards ceremony. We took part in the Canon Photomarathon XI 2013, was almost late and had to rush off before the event ends.

The 6th edition of Singapore Blog Awards is presented by Panasonic, and comprises a total of ten main categories, two celebrity categories and seven special categories. The seven special categories are organised together with different sponsors, challenging bloggers to participate in specific blogging assignments to make the Singapore Blog Award more fun and engaging for everyone. Ranging from Modelling to Cooking and even Music.
