- The Shop
The founders' passion and love for pancakes resulted in the birth of the very first of its kind specialty pancake restaurant in Asia.
The Malaysia franchise, is an all day full dining restaurant serving everything all about pancakes. From hundreds of world favourites, they’ve narrowed it down to a hundred, leaving you wanting to try them all! Eat your way around the globe, from pancakes with a crunch around the edge from America, to smooth and supple pancakes from Russia.
Fried or baked, skillet, griddle, large or small, fluffy or wafer thin, no matter where the traditions come from, or what they are, they're all pancakes and you can find most of them, in their best at Paddington House of Pancakes! They are also known for its wholesome pancakes with meat fillings and delectable dessert pancakes with fresh fruits and ice cream. They are made from the finest ingredients without artificial flavouring and preservatives.
- The Food
Lucerne @ $18
Thin, round crusty pizza-like topped with thick tomato sauce, seafood and mozzarella. The Galette is so thin like a piece of paper!
Alaska @ $15
The spicy mashed potato flapjack (thick small pancake) was not exactly spicy, but it tasted very much like our local steam carrot cake!Golden battered dory fillet was crisp and moist, accompanied by creamy mushroom sauce. A savoury pancake meals that is palatable.
Oslo @ $18
Smoked salmon was rolled beautifully with grilled zucchini atop the flapjack (same as Alaska). The wet cheesy scrambled egg goes well with the dry flapjack. Accompanied by sour cream.
Dijon @ $21
The grilled lamb shoulder (250gm) was a tad tough. However the peach, plum & passion fruit mustard dressing perfect the marriage of the lamb and crepes. The tangy and tad sweetness of fruits was a match made in heaven. It will be a crowd pleaser if the lamb was more tender. Available when plums are in season.
Chocolate Roll @ $13
Sweet Pannekoek is made into a chocolate roll with peanut butter, ice cream, oreo crumbs, chocolate sauce, nuts & whipped cream. Loves the thin Dutch/Belgian pancake with the thick nutty peanut butter. So rich and sinful! Definitely my favourite~
Bombon dollars @ $12
Dollar Pancakes with Oreo & disgestive crumbs, raisins, nuts & condensed milk. I will suggest asking for more condensed milk as it was still a little dry after mixing in the bowl. Healthy consideration for breakfast!
Chocolate Chips Pancake @ $11/$18
The American pancake with a golden ring was crisp on the outside and fluffy in the middle. Served with ice cream, marshmallows, nuts & chocolate sauce
- My Opinion
The main course are averagely decent but Paddington House of Pancakes is THE place to indulge in a sinfully sweet dessert. From sweet to savoury pancakes, a delightful range of dessert that will tantalise your taste buds.
My tummies will be back for the chocolate roll, the most unforgettable dish for me, and hopefully the lamb will be more tender then.
