- The Shop
Blisshouse Singapore (formerly Bliss House Theme Restaurant) is a theme restaurant that is beautifully and romantically decorated to the theme of Garden of Eden. The restaurant is conveniently located at Clarke Quay, The Central, and is often used to hold celebrations and even pre-wedding photoshoots.
Love the whimsical place offering fun, romantic and beautiful garden theme.
Be greet by the carriage without horse and 2-seat swing chair.
Entered via the little bridge by the water fountain to the charming garden restaurant.
There's also the cottage theme to gives you a homely dining experience.
- The Food
We were invited to taste their recently revamped their menu.
Christmas Cocktail
The cocktail has a lovely combination of fresh grapefruit, orange juice, mango & passion puree. Green apple syrup, blue & yellow colouring to make it green. It is available in non liquor too. It taste as amazing as the presentation.
Bliss's Passion Fruit Oreo Bless, Bliss's Yogurt Mango Perfume, Bliss's Mint Chocolate Oreo Bless @ $12.00 each
Passion Fruit Oreo is my favourite among the three.. Perfume with sweet passion and a tad of chocolate to linger on the palate. Mischievously awesome! The drinks are not too sweet, rich and well balance.
Nachos @ $10.00
Smoked Chicken, Salsa, Aioli, Jalapeno Chilli, Mozzarella and Cheddar Cheese on Crispy Corn Chips baked to perfection. Surprisingly the sourness and spiciness from the green chilli married the salty cheddar cheese well.
Pan-Seared Marinated Scallops And Prawns @ $22.00
Fresh juicy scallops and prawns marinated with Lime, Garlic, Dill and Olive Oil. Pan-seared to perfection served with light Carrot and Cucumber slaw. Delicious!
Scallop Tagliatelle @ $22.00
Pan-seared marinated Scallops with tagliatelle tossed with Aglio Olio style has room for improvement. It will be perfect if the chilli and salt is well balance. Sauces are pre-made to maintain the consistency.
Pork Belly Confit With Latte Tagliatelle @ $20.00
Slow braised (230g) Pork Belly in bacon, Sage and Cream till tender served on a bed of Buttered Tagliatelle. I am not a cream lover, but this dish was highly raved by my other friends.
Orange Duck Confit @ $28.00
Duck Leg bone is sous vide with Orange and Thyme served with Roasted Potatoes and Ratatouille with Orange Sauce was succulent and good. Very appetizing.
Parma Ham Wrapped Salmon @ $28.00
Salmon wrapped with Parma Ham sous vide then finish in oven was a tad dried and overcooked. Served with Roasted Potatoes, Garden Salad and Leek White Wine Sauce.
Tomato Pesto Oven Baked Black Cod Fish @ $38.00
Oven Baked Cod Fish coated with Sundried Tomato Pesto on White Mornay Sauce, served with Roasted New Potatoes, Baby Asparagus topped with light Carrot and Cucumber slaw. The cod fish was extremely moist, juicy and tender. A light and simple dish that will makes you crave for more.
Tiramisu @ $11.00
The traditional Italian recipe tiramisu with a kick of Kahlua liquor served with dark chocolate coco powder it's more on the wet side, decent and a tad sweet.
Bacon & Eggs Crème Brulee @ $9.00
Bacon Infused cream made into a velvetie custard slow baked to perfection topped with caramel crust is savory, not too sweet and pretty good. However, the bacon is too mild to be noticeable.
- My Opinion
A beautiful place for first date, gathering, birthday, ROM, wedding and events. The charming garden feel will definitely brings smiles to all diners.
I am sure there is something to suit everyone palate in their comprehensive menu, but thought the pricing is a tad high for the quality serve.
Ladies do not miss out their Ladies Night on every Thursday for free flow of Somersby!
Thanks Nicole for the invitation and Terry for the hospitality.
