Coconut Flakes Chocolate Tart (巧克力塔)

IMG_7607edit1

Chocolate cream pie (unsweetened puff pastry shell with chocolate filling) with a modern twist. Instead of the usual flour, eggs, butter and sugar for the shell, we replace them with shredded coconut flakes! Equally delicious and with extra fragrant recipe.

Chocolate Mocha Mousse Cake

IMG_5760edit1

This is similar to the Luscious Chocolate Mousse Cake that I had made for Father's Day last year. I use a different sponge recipe that is light, less chocolaty and more moist.

Hazel's (Aimakan)
birthday is just around the corner, and since we are having a lunch party at Ellena's (Cuisine Paradise) house, I decided to make a birthday cake for her. Haven't been baking a whole cake for a good damn 1-year, I have to admit that my baking skill has turn a tad rusty. Over judging the baking timing, the supposedly moist cake turn out a tad dry, but lucky still soft.

Chocolatey Chocolate Chip Muffin

Chocolatey Chocolate Chip Muffins

Trust me, this Nigella Lawson's Chocolate Chocolate Chip Muffin got to be one of the most fabulous chocolate muffins! It's moist, soft, chocolatey, and has a crumbly texture (probably from the superfine sugar). What's more, its easy to make!

Double Chocolate Chip Cookies

Double Chocolate Chip Cookies

A friend of mine in Malaysia - Angie has bought me a baking book and deliver to my office for my birthday! How sweet and nice! My colleague Edward has picked a few items from the book and asked me to bake for them. One of the item was this Double Chocolate Chip Cookies.

Definitely one of my favorites. If you have madness about chocolate, this is the recipe for you. It has little crisp on the outside, yet will still melt in your mouth on the inside. The flavorful chocolate scented batter is totally heaven!
